Terms and Conditions
Cobra Customs will refurbish all wheels to the best of our ability but cannot be held responsible for unforeseen issues such as poor casting, hidden cracks, or excessive corrosion. These issues may only become apparent once the existing coating has been removed. If our Technician determines that a cosmetically acceptable or safe result cannot be achieved, we will contact the customer immediately to discuss available options before proceeding further.
Cobra Customs reserves the right to refuse to continue the refurbishment process if, at any stage, the Technician deems the wheel unsafe or illegal.
Wheel refurbishment enhances an existing wheel but does not make it brand new. Some used alloys may not appear 100% perfect after refurbishment. We ask our customers to appreciate the quality of our work, which provides a significant improvement at a fraction of the cost of a new wheel. Certain high-gloss finishes, such as Black Chrome or polished finishes, may highlight blemishes more visibly. While we strive for perfection, we cannot guarantee a flawless finish but will make every effort to achieve the best possible result.
We will aim to meet estimated repair times but cannot be held responsible for delays due to unforeseen circumstances.
Cobra Customs will only supply specialist valves upon customer request and at their expense. We accept no liability for leaks around old valves when refitted at the customer’s request.
Some vehicles are equipped with special pressure-sensing valves, which may be damaged during the tyre removal or bead-breaking process. We cannot take responsibility for these valves and recommend that customers remove them before the repair process. Please refer to your vehicle handbook for instructions on recalibration.
Cobra Customs is not responsible for resetting any vehicle systems related to tyre pressure monitoring. Please consult your vehicle handbook for recalibration instructions.
We reserve the right to refuse to refit damaged or illegal tyres. If an issue is found, the customer will be informed and asked to sign a disclaimer accepting full responsibility if they choose to have such tyres refitted.
When fitting wheels directly to a vehicle, our staff will ensure correct air pressure and torque wheel bolts using appropriate tools. Customers must recheck these after an initial bedding-in period of 50 miles and at regular intervals as part of standard vehicle maintenance.
All vehicles must be covered by their own insurance while left with Cobra Customs. If applicable, customers must provide a locking wheel nut key for wheel removal and refitting. We accept no liability for personal items left in the vehicle.
Vehicles or wheels will not be released until payment is made in full. For payment information, please speak with your technician or contact Cobra Customs directly. While we will make every effort to notify customers regarding wheel collection, any wheels left uncollected beyond the agreed timeframe may be resold after six months to cover costs.
Warranty Information
To make a warranty claim, Cobra Customs requires a copy of the original invoice, which must be settled in full. Claims without the original invoice cannot be upheld.
Painted Wheels
Covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of completion.
Warranty covers paint defects but does not include damage caused by lack of maintenance, use of corrosive cleaners, or driver-related damage.
Diamond Cut / Polished Wheels
Covered by a 3-month warranty from the date of completion.
This shorter warranty reflects the fact that lacquered, bare-machined alloy is more vulnerable to environmental conditions such as road debris and weather exposure.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by lack of maintenance, use of corrosive cleaners, or driver-related damage.
All warranty claims must be supported by photographic evidence and will be subject to inspection by our specialists before approval.
For warranty claims, please contact Cobra Customs directly with the date of repair and relevant details.
